Sara Smiles Project
This is a project in memory of Sara Jo, she was taken from us in a terrible tradegy on 11/24/07. This project is to provide a local nursing home with Knit or Crocheted Lapghans to keep them warm. She wanted to complete this goal by 2010 I hope to complete it in a year. This project is in her honor. It was one of Sara's goals to provide "scarves" for the seniors at a local nursing home. She had just completed her first scarf and wanted to share her new talent with people she felt would use and appreciate her work.

Felted Clogs

I made my first pair of felted clogs and OMG it was so much fun. I actually signed up for a class with my girlfriend Sue at Wool and Company, it was a 3 week class and it was very informative for me. I'm so excited to actually complete something new!

I couldn't believe how large they were before I felted them and low and behold they actually fit my feet. I'm currently working on a second pair for my DH. They will be dark grey bottom with light grey top. I think they will turn out great.

Then of course DS and DD will both want a pair. I'm thinking "Michigan" colors Blue and Gold for DS and of course some sort of pink with eyelash yarn in it for DD.

I'm hoping to someday take another class maybe a sweater class. I have always wanted to make a sweater.

You won't believe it but I signed up for SCHOOL! Yes SCHOOL. I'm planning on going back to get my CNA, and then complete my associates and head off to the RN program. Ya I know but I could be done by the time I'm 40 - 7 years is a long time frame, but I don't want to rush myself so I'm looking at a good number 40!
