Deck Update

Our deck wood has been delivered! WOOHOO. Of course I have taken a few pictures for the old scrapbook. Watching the crain was actually pretty cool. It made me slightly nervous because of the electrical/phone lines that the crain guy had to avoid not hitting. All I thought was NO power, NO air - NO computer . . . then NO phone - NO internet! AHHH. It all worked out and everything was placed in the right spot and nothing was damaged.

Today was day one and yes it RAINED almost all day. Z (carpenter) came by late afternoon to test the ground and remove the old decking. I can't believe how many pictures I actually took and it was only day one. Well, I'm going to post them all because its my blog and I'm super excited about this 24' long x 20' to the pool deck! Guess what???!!! Its suppose to rain for the next 3 days here . . . of course it is . . . I'm getting a deck put on. I'm sure the deck will be up and ready to use and I will be in Michigan wondering . . . . . . are the steps in the right location?!

I can't leave this picture out . . . yes I'm working him too (DS) he can build up his arm muscles for football! More pictures to come as Z continues to work on the deck! HIP HIP HORRAY!

Where in the world is Pennie?

I have been around, very busy dye'n yarn and taking care of my four children. My DH has been working doubles after doubles. We are actually getting our deck at the end of July WOOHOO. I'm so excited. There are moments I can really imagine me sitting on the deck and then just jumping into my 24' swimming pool :) The deck will be 24'x16', yes I know its a big deck. We are getting the wood on Saturday and our friend/contractor is starting on Monday. Don't worry I will be posting pictures!!!

Well, I think that is all that has been going on with me. Will post more when I have pictures.
