New Toy

Yes, we finally have a new toy. DH has been working overtime, overtime and overtime. DH picked up this Honda Goldwing from a good friend. It only has 42,000 miles and its in good condition. Its currently at a shop for a tune-up and new brakes. Should be riding this weekend. I'm thinking it will save on gas till about November. DH is soooo happy, he has wanted a motocycle for years and I have blocked it - or at least tried. Now I'm glad he is getting one. At least I can ride it too! Now to hook up a sitter for a few hours and rrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiddddddddeeeee.

Final SP Package

I received my final package from my Secret Pal. WOW - WOOHOO! HOT DOG! what a delightful package. Sock yarn, cotton yarn, needles, organic tea, idea book, canadian money (son loved this) key chain, counter, oh CHOCOLATE and other misc. Her name was Rudy and she from from Canada. I just loved this round. I'm happy to say I have had a great SP everytime. Thank you so much Rudy it was great getting packages from you :)

Dye'n

I have been "Dye'n" more yarn . . . I'm so happy that my yarn has been selling. I'm working on another 20 skeins, DS helped design a few (different but may turn out cool). I have a lot going on the next few weeks. Darcy and I are doing a craft show this weekend, Darcy sells Close to My Heart http://darcyarmstrong.myctmh.com and I'm doing Bead Retreat and ExtremeYarn. I have 4 bead retreats scheduled in the next 3 weeks, trip planned to Michigan, football practice starting, oh and more yarn dye'n and I have a few craft shows I'm highly considering for my ExtremeYarn.

Well the DH and I went out for the first time ALONE since January (when we took in our two nieces) and boy was it nice. We went to the Prime Quarter, its a fun restaurant where you grill your own steaks. IT WAS GOOD! And the time alone was GREAT. We are going to try and plan ever 4-6 weeks a night out just for us.

New Microwave

Yes I received a new . . . well its an older microwave from my girlfriend Darcy. This one is a jumbo!

I can dye 2 skeins of yarn at the same time!!! Boy last night I did 20 skeins of yarn in 4 hours. It was great. Thank you Darcy. I wanted to show off my dye'n table, supplies and microwave. My hubby says I'm a PRO!

and then the finished product . . . as its drying. Then the real work begins, using the yarn swift. I guess its not work just time consuming. There is a total of 21 skeins of yarn to swift, take pictures of, post in my store, sell and then ship.
