Yarn Experiences

My favorite yarn is wool. I love to felt. I saw my crafty friend J knitting up a large bag; I was looking at it and thought . . . hummm. . . what is that its shaped weird and I think she is knitting it wrong. J went on to show me the picture and how wool felts. I have been hooked ever since. I have made several purses. I really want to make a pair of cloggs . . . someday :)

My least favorite yarn would be eye lash yarn, I have issues trying to get the right strand to knit with or finding it for that matter. I also don't like the yarn that is boxy cause I always get the needle in the middle and not so I can knit it. I tried making a shawl and it didn't work out for me :(

I guess I can go over my favorite colors too . . . reds, blues and deep greens. I also like browns :) I'm not an orange, yellow, or pink person.

Broke the rules

I broke the rules today. I purchased yarn : ( I haven't purchased yarn since Dec. I did good! I went shopping with Sue and I had the honor of escorting her to her first yarn store! We visited a new shop in Sandwich and then we headed to Dekalb.

Had a great time and I'm looking forward to making something with my new yarn. I'm thinking about starting a pair of socks . . . I know I know I have said that before but I'm really considering making my own . . . what a conversation piece.
