Zeilinger Wool Co.

Pictures will tell a thousand words on this one. I brought home my first "sheep" :) Isn't he just the cutiest. I loved him once I laid my eyes on him.

This is where I adopted "baaaa". He made some great yarn too.

Do you like the colors? I do, I'm thinking a purse, I know I know, I always make purses, but I love them. Any other ideas for this yarn? I will love them, I may not use them but I will take them :)

coool machines . . .

This wool company had a cool sock making machine, my neice Helen and I are checking them out. It was neat to see all the different type of machines and the yarn. The store wasn't that large but it ment alot to me. Note: DH attended the tour and took the pictures for me . . . he was a good sport :)

Secret Pal Strikes . . . I totally forgot to post on Saturday :( Sorry Pal, I have been super busy with Thanksgiving week upon us. HERE IS MY PICTURE OF WHAT MY PAL SENT ME :) I love NORO!! I love the yarn and chocolate :) YUMMY.

I sent off package one of three to my SP. I made a few things this time :) Plus I wanted to send a package a week.

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope all of my friends/family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are heading home for the holiday and I'm hoping to hit some yarn stores and a yarn factory :) I will take pictures and post once I return.

Scrapbooking in the RAW

Yesterday I started my day leaving at 7:15 a.m. to head to Walmart (hate our new store) to pick up a few things with Darcy. Then I headed to her house to start the "scrapbooking" day. I had a great time, I worked on 2 seasons of football for DS and only have 1 season left, then I can start working on this year with the "Eagles" - hope to get some pictures off my computer to start this :) I also finished up 2004 and 2005 road trips to scrapbooking conventions that the RAW group went to. One was in Michigan and other was in Chicago. This album turned out great. I'm planning on putting some items on EBAY today to get rid of. I have way to much scrapbooking stuff that I don't use anymore and I want some new stuff . . . so I will sell off and then rebuy.

I have been carrying boxes and boxes of Christmas items up from the basement. Yes, I know its early and that I should wait till after Thanksgiving and I am . . . kindof . . . we are heading home for Thanksgiving and when we get home I want to turn it all on.

Confession

Lets see, I purchased a Stitch and Bitch calendar for my secret pal, read her blog and she bought herself one the same weekend I purchased one for her! Oh I was so upset - LMAO - I'm so glad, cause I wanted one, I didn't buy it and NOW I HAVE ONE! Usually I just buy what I want, but I figured I would let my family know of a gift they could surprise me with . . . oh well.

This weekend is going to be a blast, tonight (Friday) I'm going to my best friends house, Darcy, for a bead/jewerly party. I have never been to one but I think it will be a blast. She has like 17 people coming so I'm sure all us ladies will be having fun.

Then on Saturday, I'm heading back over to Darcys to hook up with our third wheel, Julie AKA other best friend :) We call ourselves the RAW group. We will be "scrapbooking in the RAW". Starting around 9am till we drop. I'm hoping to get a few pages done. Darcys DH is making rav's and salad, Julie is bringing dessert and I'm picking up the "cocktail drinks".

I'm not sure what type of knitting I will get done this weekend, I'm sure Sunday will be a time of rest :) Then Monday will be a time of packing . . . we are heading to Michigan for Thanksgiving . . . Hip hip . . . I'm excited about this! Till later - knit on!

Crafty Sunday

I have been doing some crafty stuff this Sunday. I made my mom some birthday gifts (we are going to visit her at Thanksgiving), 2 page scrapbook spread, and a Yarn sign for my secret pal. I think it turned out cute. I'm going to pick up some more wood and make a few more.

Plus my house is clean, we cleaned part of Friday and almost all day yesterday. I think we filled about 14 bags of garbage. Yes I threw out some "stuff".

Wrestling starts tomorrow at 6:30 am. This should be fun, I hope DS likes it. It will be his first time doing this sport, but I'm thinking he will like it. Happy Knitting to All . . . GO BEARS!
